Marine Design and Operations, Inc. is active in the development of general operations and safety manuals covering main and auxiliary machinery, cargo handling systems and other aspects of ship operations for today's increasingly sophisticated vessels technical documentation. MDO provides manuals for vessel operations including engineering operating manuals, deck operating manuals, automation manuals, safety manuals and security (ISPS- VSPs). We have also been involved  in preparing specialized operating manuals for DP (dynamic positioning manuals) operations.

 

In the past MDO has prepared Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation for the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command and U.S. Coast Guard standards. These services have included full Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and preparation of technical manuals to military and commercial requirements. In addition, MDO. Inc. has developed and published documentation to meet the requirements of ISO 9000 and IMO (ISM), and we were the controlled documentation manager for a U.S. flag LNG transportation company under an approved ISO 9002 system.
